It’s National Donut Day!

Donuts   Doughnuts

Yes, that’s right today is National Donut Day across the US! Get your plan of attack ready for this sweet deal New York.

Thanks to the Salvation Army, whose efforts to aide people in need through annual fundraisers since 1938, honors the women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I with a National Donut Day on the first Friday in June.

To celebrate this 73 year long holiday, Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme will both be giving away free donuts of your choice at participating locations.

Dunkin Donuts may require you to purchase a drink of your choice to receive your free treat, but what better than coffee to pair with that donut?

Krispy Kreme will also be handing out your choice of donut absolutely free, yes you’ve read right, no purchase necessary! Whether you’re the Classic Glazed devotee or lean a little more on the New York Cheesecake side, or anywhere in between, there’s surely a lot to choose from at Krispy Kreme.

For a Dunkin Donuts near you visit DunkinDonuts.com.

Luckily for us, there’s a Krispy Kreme in New York which can be found at:

2 Penn Plaza-Amtrak Level
New York, NY 10001

In the words of Homer Simpson: “Mmmm…. Doughnuts….”
